FINE MOTOR SKILLS
Defined as small muscle movements, such as those that occur in the finger, in coordination with the eyes. An example of functional Fine Motor Skills would be the unimpaired ability to hold a pencil or pen to write.
SHORT-TERM MEMORY
That part of memory which stores a limited amount of information for a likewise limited amount of time. (By example, from a couple of hours, to a day).
VISUAL PROCESSING
The use of the sense of sight to correctly interpret visual symbols, as in reading. For instance, one with impaired visual processing might read the word "boot," in place of the word "foot."
